Het pand is een herenhuis met 3 etages; het B&B is gevestigd op de eerste en tweede etage van het huis. Het huis is gebouwd in 1907 en opgeleverd in 1909. Heeft vele orginele art deco/art nouveau-details zoals glas in lood, een houten bewerkt trappenhuis, bewerkte plafonds en marmeren schoorstenen. Het pand is één van de best bewaard gebleven huizen op de Valkenboslaan.
B&B Art Déco heeft ruimte voor 5 (volwassen) gasten of 4 volwassenen en 2 kinderen (extra slaapplaatsen op de grond kunnen worden geregeld) en er is een campingbedje. Onlangs heeft het hele huis centrale verwarming gekregen, met zonneboiler, en het voorbalcon wordt momenteel gerenoveerd.

Het Valkenboskwartier is een oude stadswijk met veel goed onderhouden huizen uit de periode 1900-1912. Den Haag heeft meerdere stadswijken die gebouwd zijn in de art deco en art nouveau periode; ook jugendstill is vertegenwoordigd. Liefhebbers van deze stijlen kunnen hun hart ophalen in het Haagse.

Er zijn onlangs een aantal wandelroutes toegevoegd aan de gasteninformatie met de thema's art deco, het Valkenboskwartier en herbestemd industrieel erfgoed in heel Den Haag.

Valkenbos heeft een multi cultureel karakter met een goed aanbod van kleine restaurants uit alle windstreken van de wereld. Veel bewoners zetten zich in voor de wijk.

B&B Art Déco heeft rechtstreekse Openbaar Vervoerverbindingen naar het Centrum, beide Stations (DH Centraal en Hollands Spoor) en naar Scheveningen. In 10 tot 20 minuten bent u op één van deze genoemde plaatsen met tram of bus. Voor gasten heeft het B&B OV chipkaarten met 1 of meerdaags reis tegoed die u kunt huren.

Ons B&B heeft een parkeervergunning voor de gasten!

B&B Art Déco is built in 1907 in a quarter with art déco and art nouveau houses. Most of them are in good shape as you can see when you will be guest in our B&B which opened his doors in 2005. There are a lott of original details like white marble mantelpieces, decorated ceilings and stairways. A lott of houses are well conservated in this quarter.
B&B Art Déco has room for 5 (adult) guests; for children we can make extra accomodation on the floor and there is a campingbed for baby's. Since june 2011 the house has got central heating, with sun-energy, and the front balcony is in renovation.

In the neighbourhood are a lott of small restaurants from all the country's of the world.

B&B Art Déco has very good Public Transport to the Hague Stations (and Schiphol Airport), the City and the See. For car-drivers it is interesting to mention that our B&B has a parking licence for our guests! And our B&B has public transportcards for 1-3 days which you can rent.
